I don't support same-sex marriage nor do i encourage gay/lesbian relationship.
But I like this movie called Shelter; and interestingly enough it centers around the main character who's going through this new phase of...gayness? To put it bluntly.
Here's the trailer (might be Not Safe For Work/School) :
...so you get hints of the movie's storyline yet? I didn't know it was a relatively new movie (2008 doesn't seem that far to me for some reason).
Well actually what made me like this movie is the way it's filmed : simple and no lengthy and witty dialogue, instead it uses close-to-real-life conversations. Plus it has street art, skateboarding, and surfing -- WHO DOESN'T LIKE SURFERS?
But the relationships between characters are also shown clearly and nicely, especially the one between Zach and Shaun HAHA OKAY NO DETAILS HERE.some of you might get weirded out 8D but srsly, it's not mushy at all; no cheesy romantic words or anything. I'm allergic to cheesy stuff, so yeah I like how this movie approaches its objective :3
So...yeah, that's just my point.
Oh btw, Wiki said this movie only took 21 days to shoot, and it's done in California :D

Another thing I'd like to rant about is girly-guy fanarts.
SURPRISE, right? This coming out from someone who does fanarts, and some girlish ones too.
But to be honest with you, I don't like fanarts that make guys, especially real living people, look like girls, or appear girlish, intentionally. Exception for people who do draw with shoujo-style/strokes, though.
I know it's just for fun but when that's all you draw, it gets boring after some time AND it gets annoying too. For me, at least.
that's why lately i'm trying to have uruha do manrii stuff. like drawing him drunk and play the guitar. not saying there's no girls who do that too, but *shrugs*
And I'm becoming to hate guy/guy pairing of real people.
Like how people do with v-kei bands -- it's just WRONG.
Fictitious characters I don't mind, cuz they're not real and there's endless possibilities, but real people, now, man, that's not right.
Say you're in a famous band, and people write/draw stuff with you and your band member who's the same gender as you, kissing or having sex. LIKE WTF, RIGHT? D:
Again, it's everyone's freedom to do so, but personally I can't take it.
Cuz for me, even though we have the freedom to imagine ever-so-wildly so, I'll want to give them proper respect as a human being to another human being; as a fan to an inspirator (is there such a word...?).

Visual kei is a part of Japanese rock, right?
Yeah well I've just realized that, recently.
HAHA I'M SLOOOOOOOW.
Neways, yeah, V-kei.
Sometimes when I'm lucky, I'll get to hear some good songs from V-kei bands;
but most of the time I'll most probably go :
"...nope. I can't feel anything."
Not to say they're not good, but I just can't seem to connect with the more unknown ones.
Gazette and Arisu were once V-kei, right? And see how I am with them.
But like the more obscure bands -- well I admit that I didn't try to listen to them much but I can't seem to get interested in them.
BUT J-rock still rocks XD

Speaking bout V-kei,
I heard that Gazette didn't get an online appearance at all on last week's V-kei Festival D:
Somehow I think my wishing Gazette and Arisu luck jinxed it 8D
Arisu had some tech problems; Shou was fixing his earpiece a lot of times, he even went to one of the techies at the beginning of the show and had him fix it somewhat while still singing; Pon's mic wasn't working when he sang back-up but he too kept singing; and the sounds were kinda awkward. After they finished the beautiful name (which is the only song they showed online), Shou had to stall by MC-ing while the techies and the others try to sync and fix the instruments haha.
I was a bit disappointed, honestly D:
I dunno how it went for Gazette cuz I wasn't online the time the 2nd day's events were streaming. Gazette was supposed to be the closing act or something, from what the schedule showed. It's a shame though that they didn't show it online, cuz it's Gazette, and they're kinda known for giving off cool lives.

So...like I said, a jinx maybe?
Oh well the world doesn't revolve around me alone so it's just a coincidence right?

Oh I watched Juno the other day.
It's cool, I liked it :D
The songs were awesome too :3
And I watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall XD
Another cool one, albeit a lot of nakedness and inappropriate scenes haha.
Inglourious Basterds aren't on DVDs yet so no good quality downloads are available as of yet...so I'll just have to wait eh.
The movies that I like -- I realized that they have happy endings to them. minus Saw, of course.
I do like plot twists, but they're rarely good.
*shrugs*
I wanna watch Pirates 4 8DDD

I think fall just remembered to do its job.
Since the winds and chilly temperature started yesterday,
I guess that nature just forgot to turn it on when fall actually started.
It was super-freezing, the winds today.
Yesterday it got a bit violent; it was really strong, like it was making up for lost time or something haha.
Still, I like fall.
Cuz I don't have to worry what clothes I'll wear XD
It'll be t-shirts and hoodies all week, man. People won't even care if you wear the same hoodie all week long 8D
