Anyhow, as usual I don't have much to talk about here.
I just felt like getting stuff out of my head.

So mainly this is gonna be about Gazette's new single, Before I Decay.
Yep, I got to listen it today and also watch the PV before I went to school this afternoon.
I guess my curiosity grew as I slept last night, but wtv.
I'm more interested in the coupling track, Mayakashi, which, by the looks of it, a lot of people misread it as Damashi.
Well I understand why. It's cuz of Ruki's clever wordplay again :

The kanji for the track is 「瞞し」 where 瞞 = ｄａｍａ・ｓｕ; it means deception.
So how do we know it's not read as damashi?
Looking at Gazette's MySpace, of course.
And according to Nihongoresources.com, ｍａｙａｋａｓｈｉ (spelled as 「まやかし」) also means deception.
Therefore, don't get the track title wrong : it's Mayakashi, not Damashi.
Or else Ruki will curse you for not understanding his genius literary wordplay >:3

Oh right, before I go on about Mayakashi, lemme pour out my opinion on the title track, Before I Decay, in a short summary :
It's scary how I feel that Gazette doesn't excite me anymore.

But it's not like I'm giving up on you guys!
I don't wanna elaborate much on that, so...yeah, in a nutshell, that's about it.
Plus you don't wanna read a n00b's rant on music neways, right?
Okay, back to Mayakashi!
It's a...ballad-ish song, I think. I dunno, I suck at music genre cuz I don't care.
Personally I like it better than BID :3
This time there's only 1 coupling track; usually they'll have 2. I wonder why the change.

there's something nagging at the back of my head regarding Mayakashi.
It feels like this song has something similar with another one...
This is just what I think though, but if you're interested in it,
I think it's somehow a mesh of :

I miss the $OCIAL RIOT MACHINE$ they once were, Gazette-tachi.
Oh well. Look forwards, not backwards, right?
