Guilts and confessions concerning my music thoughts

I compared Gazette to Diru (Dir en Grey), WTF was I thinking? No I'm not saying either one of them are better or worse than the other, but now when I think about it, I felt bad cuz :
1. I'm no expert in music, ZERO knowledge;
2. I don't follow Diru at all and the only albums I heard of theirs are GAUZE and UROBOROS;
3. Gazette is Gazette and Diru is Diru, end of discussion.

So even though only a few people read this, but I really want to apologize to anyone getting offended by the thought of those two bands being compared to each other, or really, to any other bands at all.
Seriously my apologies.

And I (am ashamed to) also recently just realized this : so what if they're going mainstream or whatever -- to me it means their stuff can reach many other people easier than before, no?

Btw After countless time playing DIM over and over again, I find it really haunting lol.



Also, regarding to looks and music : I'd be lying if I say that I like a band because of their music ONLY.
Let's face it -- we're all attracted to beautiful things. If we're not then we won't have jewelleries or fashionable clothes OR even models, right?
It's really at the stage of attraction that someone wants to get to know of something. Then from there you get sort of curious, and THEN you want to know more about it.
It's just natural. If you like them you do, if you don't then you don't.

But it's just sad if people would start liking a band less and less if the band changed, visually or musically. Change is just normal, get over it, yeah? Sure you'd get kinda upset cuz you'd think they won't be as awesome as they did before, but if you're really supporting a band, or anyone/thing for that matter, you'd go over that and cheer them on.

Meh I sound way too nice and pretentious there ain't I? A preacher maybe. Heh.
But I'm being honest here.



Also, who cares if people are bashing your fandom? I like to see people bashing Gazette, Alice Nine, and Miyavi. SRSLY. Cuz it makes me see what other people think of them. And it's not like everything's a lie anyways; they HAVE weaknesses that I agree on, truthfully *shot*
Everyone have different opinions and views, and that's what making all the bashings really fun.

Oh concerning Gazette, here's something(s) I haven't told anyone (who'd listen to me ranting about Gazette in RL neways) :

1. I used to think Gazette as posers when I saw a picture of them somewhere, cuz there's someone with a bandage on his nose in the band. My thoughts then were : "OMG LAME SHIT -- they're doing that only cuz they want to be different than the other bands, hah!"

2. Before knowing Gazette, I came across a Kai photoshoot in a Neo Genesis mag -- the short one with Kai and a glass of red-stuff in it -- and said to myself : "...he looks old...and what's with the lame pose O_O Who is this...?"
Yeah...and now I see Kai as a badass drummer who can kill people only with a smile ♥
Although I still wish he has better poses now =_=; he does fine on solo photoshoots nowadays~

3. AND! Also another magazine encounter before knowing Gazette, this time of Aoi. Seriously, I thought he was a solo artist. I can't really remember exactly what my first impression of him was but it went something like "I don't think I'll like him." On what basis, I'm not sure 8D;
But you guys know better, right? The past me would've hanged herself if she knew how much I like him NOW ♥

-- did I tell you that my first Gazette song and PV is Filth in the Beauty? And did I tell you that my eyes landed on the guitarist on the left-side of the screen and immediately was attracted to him? AND did I tell you that I don't like the PV's image much?
How warped and self-conflicting can I be? XD

all i remember of my first impression kat gazetto is that i hate rukis voice ahaha 8D isnt it soo contradictory... gazetto is such a firstimpression contradictiory band n_n

i have no first impression memory of reita whatsoever... only that there was a phase where i went crazy finding a piccu of his bare nose 8||D
