16 Sept, Sunday -- the day i go/went to US. so~ the report!! or rather the pictures.
my last view of the KLiA grounds with nephews. aaa.
NOTE!! before this pic, i already cried my heart out. yeah, i CAN CRY @_@
berbuka~ chicken and rice whatever, forgot. hee. first meal onboard.
voila -- finished Xd (<-- i was hungry.)
transit at Taipei after like 4 hours in the air.
a TRULY PAPER paper cup. folded paper. environmentally friendly.
just 1.5 hours transit, so we didn't go anywhere. huddled together, then go to the waiting room, then go into the plane again.
like 30 min - 1 hr after boarding again, this time straight to LAX.
my dinner, lamb and noodle. i didn't finish this tho, i left the bun and macaroni-salad-thing (above left) untouched, waaaste T^T
but!! the carrots are cute =3
we went over Japan at some point, and i was awfully excited, but since i was too sleepy by the time i woke up we're already over the Pacific Ocean. meh. even the windows couldn't be opened since the sky outside was too bright (ALL BLiNDiNG WHiTE) during/after sunrise. i slept okay except for the sitting position o.0
my brunch. haha. fish and pasta thingy. i finished everything!!
since i already puasa on Sunday (Msia time) and by this time it's still Sunday (...US time or whatever) so me and my friends agreed to eat to our heart's content that day XD
since i took his seat before Taipei, i've to get back to my own originally-placed seat after that. see the sky, all so...empty...and only blueness? (<-- non-word) really bright.
finished my brunch~ while watching Surf's Up i think.
...or was it Gegege no Kitaro? Nana 2? can't remember, but i certainly did get to watch TWO MOViES and a half (half = Surf's Up) on the plane. that's AFTER Taipei.
before Taipei i watched half of Pirates 1, but due to sleepiness i stopped and watched House (season 3) but also halfway. aa.
(note!! House season 3 is premiering on AXN *Msia* on Sept 17)
THE LAND OF THE STATES finally in front of/below us!! all so square-ish, the city planning 8D
touchdown at LAX round 1830 hrs LA time. pretty sky.
our seniors/welcoming committee at LAX and us, promptly blocking the exit somehow. then an office came to us and asked us to clear the way.
our first 'wrongdoing' in the States, yeah.
before boarding the bus that's gonna bring us into Cal Poly. find me.
ah...a real short report. but covers up everything that i remember til now.
it's 0905 now, and we'll be having some kinda orientation on 1300, so til anything good happens i'll stop here for now kaaays.

in the bus, for the horizontal span of my eyeview, i can see up to EiGHT airplanes in the air!! near LAX especially. crazy 8D then the crescent moon, somehow looks bigger and it's beautiful. sadly no pics tho.
we have to stay in Kellogg's West hotel before we get to check into our own houses for the first 2 nights. i got to see/touch a real maple leaf XD also no pics DX and by the time we check into our hotel rooms (2 person per room) i got some kinda headache (my head was like swimming @.@) lack of sleep maybe.

i slept round 0100 hrs, and woke up at 0430 for sahur. ate in another friend's room (my roommate doesn't feel like eating, so i took down something for her then went back up again) since the food is there, n only 4 of us woke up (of...10 Muslim students?) and we ate whie watching this movie on tv (already halfway). it was kinda fun.
before going back into my room, i kinda saw something like a rabbit or something hopping into the bushes at the carpark...was dark, couldn't be sure. then prayed Subuh, and got online and here i am.

It's just I don't like the culture there (it feels so plastic) and I freak about things such as the possibility of getting shot. Sure, there are thousands and millions of people living there, if I travelled there I would be just one among them. You just never know what happens. Yees, a pessimistic girl, that's what I am! Haha.
Anyway, I wish you a nice stay there and pleasent err holiday? or whatever it's called for you.
