so what's next?
2019-07-12 06:21 pmso Johnny Kitagawa has passed away.
i don't know him personally, and since i don't really read japanese entertainment news, i'm not really well-versed about this particular person.
i only know him as the person behind Johnny's Entertainment, which gave us the Japanese boybands we love in the likes of Arashi, V6, SMAP, Hey! Say! Jump, etc.
and i've heard/read snippets (not even a full article, in fact) about this man's misconducts i.e. some sort of paedophilia? child abuse? i think. but like i said, as i haven't read any articles of it, i don't know the magnitude of this vice of him.
now. what i'm more interested in is -- now that JE (do they call themselves that? is it J&A now? too lazy to check now) is gonna have a new head, will changes happen?
more particularly -- will changes that will affect their overseas fans take place?
because obviously i'd like to have all of JE's acts' songs & PVs on streaming sites (TOKIO's is kinda hard to get!!) because honestly, what better way to boast about my love for V6 via sharing on legit sites, right?
i have no idea how the new head might bring JE now but i'm really hoping that the idea of having them on streaming sites will become true.
i mean. yeah 1-minute videos on Avex/V6's official youtube are nice, but nothing beats having full PVs on there. and it's more beneficial? and more purposeful? 1 minute ain't enough, okay.
also as Spotify is quite a big player for music streaming, i'd really love it if they have their songs there too. less taking space in the hard drive, and easier sharing with the public. it may impact their physical sales, but maybe more people can have access to it now?
i tried Apple Music but meh i hated the layout and i didn't find it user-friendly at all.
so! we can only wait & see how JE will be from now but this entry has been my vision for their future lol kthx you can go now bye X'D
