I'VE WATCHED THE PSC 10TH ANNIVERSARY DVD~!!
I had time to watch it this morning! ♥
To be honest, I'm kinda disappointed with it cuz I was expecting something more fun and less formal like the 2005 one, but then again that one was a tour, and this one is a one-day event, also it's the new year, so I guess it's sorta understandable.
Anyways, they are all awesome XD
SuG's performance was unbelieveably COOL!
I've never listened to their songs much (except Love Scream Party) and I dunno how they are LIVE-wise, but while watching the performance, I think my grin went very very very wide, like srslynoshit. Chiyu's bass solo is even more awesome LIVE! XDDD
Screw's performance was kinda okay.
I like the intro to Vegas though, it's amazing. Personally I don't really like their songs much, but they're trying their best and is kinda cool, when I think again. Maybe it's the shirtless thing that made me not like the performance much, yeah. *nods nods*
Kagrra,'s performance is BEAUTIFUL.
Especially Utakata -- I mean, come on, the koto's strings' sound, it's...wonderful! Ah I dunno how to describe it, but I really like it. Their Japanese aesthetics are very strong, I can give you that. And Izumi's ever-smiling face is adorable AHAHAHAAA~ and and, Nao's bass-playing killed me at one point!
Kra's performance is unexpectedly energetic!
Man, I came to love everyone of this band now. Yasuno doesn't look as proud as he did back in 2005 (it's just my opinion, and it's lame, I know), and that's a good thing =3 Mai is a good performer as a guitarist, I discovered! Ehehe. Artman and Buriki no Hata are definitely memorable to me now.
alice nine.'s performance : they're growing!
Velvet is my favorite, period. So of course I'll love it XD But Rainbows got a bit more modification! It's more rock-ish than how it usually is, and I love it XDDD AND, I super-love the 'modified' intro of Blue Planet, it's so cooL~ and that's the only song where Tora smiled and was not bending down like in the other 2 songs.
extra : Shou's pants...distracted me a bit, actually. *cough*
the GazettE's performance is definitely EXPLOSIVE.
The song that played when they came in is pure love. their entrance made me go : O______O -- not cuz they look awesome (well, they do) but cuz of their...attitude? Charisma? I guess. I wanted tofangirl-scream when they come out actually, but thankfully my roommate was asleep at the time, so it spared me a bit of self-embarrassment.
I was worried about them cuz they were wearing hakama, and they can trip or something, but it seems like the hakama just adds to their awesomeness XD It's kinda weird having people in traditional outfits becoming all hardcore and headbanging...but that's the way they work, the GazettE ♥
extra : LOL I actually concentrated less on Aoi XD and more on the band as a whole!
Miyavi's performance is somehow different.
I noticed he used English a lot, and honestly it gives me mixed feelings. Oh well, he's still a great artist and a wonderful performer! I'd prefer it if he performed more with his guitar though, cuz that's his unique trait! His slap-style (I forgot the name of the style, sorry!) playing never ceases to make me feel awed and downright amazed.
His speech somehow made me sad, cuz that's the last speech he'll give as a PSC artist, and what's more sad is that the audience then didn't know that it'll be his last time performing together with the others under PSC. Mm.
extra : I wonder if Melody was at that show...
The ending was nice =3
How each of the band's rep knocked open the barrel of...sake? Mochi? *is illiterate on their custom* After they broke the top of the barrel, I believe everyone who has watched noticed Ruki picking up the wooden hammer and sorta like had this amused reaction on his face lolz. Like he was thinking : "Ah~ I should've gone up there instead of Kai~" na kanji de. *fail*
