i finished the last book yesterday~ wahhh!! honestly i'm sad to say goodbye to the series, but everything comes to an end eventually. it was a good ending, really, although kinda cliche or somewhat, it's still good.
beware of many spoilers.
+ Voldemort's death, as any other villain's death, is too sudden. not that he's my favorite character or anything, but i'll prefer a more challenging death...
+ i like how the plot twists and gives a surprise, especially when Harry said that the owner of the Elder Wand after Dumbledore should've been Draco, since Draco was the one who used Expelliarmus on Dumbledore, therefore had the rights over Dumbledore's wand. like that.
+ the wandlore was explained quite well and i found it interesting...what?
+ i...noticed quite a few turns in relationships too. like when they're going after Ravenclaw's Diadem in the Room of Requirement, Harry helped Draco from the fire. Harry and Draco. i even imagined them on the broom together. omg my mind is going into the unintended direction!! no no steer back -- ah, alright. so Harry and co. have put away their hatred against Draco and co. yay for good!! (boo for typical heroics >3<)
+ Snape and Lily are childhood friends -- who would've guessed? no wonder he hates James so much.
+ i don't like how Fred died!! ah the twins are supposed to last til the end~
+ so now the Marauders are all dead. the funny thing is they died in reverse order, according to the names on the Marauder's Map : Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. who died first? James, Sirius, Peter and lastly Lupin. coincidence?
+ i'm rereading The Philosopher's Stone now, and i noticed Hagrid had said : "Now, yer (Harry's) mum an' dad were as good a witch an' wizard as I ever knew. Head Boy an' Girl at Hogwarts in their day!" -- then in Order of the Phoenix, Sirius said : "No one would have made me a prefect, I spent too much time in detention with James." 'His (Harry's) father had not been a prefect either.'
...I thought in order to become Head Boy and Girl, they have to become prefects first...?
+ Neville became heroically awesome in Deathly Hallows!! yeah!!
+ swear words used in Deathly Hallows : i found two. one by Ron, one by Mrs Weasley. they are 'bastard' and 'bitch' respectively. hahaha. kids are reading this, JK Rowling.
+ in the end of the book, Teddy was found together with Victoire -- maybe it's just me, but i don't remember any Victoire. but when i looked it up in Wikipedia i found that Victoire is Bill and Fleur's daughter. hm, maybe i forgot a few earlier parts.
+ i almost cried when Harry 'summoned' his father, mother, Sirius and Lupin back again. SiRiUS i MiSS YOU~!!
+ i wonder why Snape was being awfully horrible to Harry all these while, but in fact he's actually looking after him. what kinda twisted 'looking after' is that...?
+ ah -- i always felt that every book will take place in Hogwarts eventually.
