Saddening, this world.

I take it that everyone knows of the terrorist attack in India.
Another terrorism act, and another misunderstanding of Muslims around the world.

Jihad doesn't mean you go and kill people as you like.
Jihad means you defend your religion when it's threatened, not provoking more threats.

I feel helpless.
I dunno what to feel --
Anger cuz they brought more bad images to Islam,
Sad cuz many died and injured,
Sad too cuz the terrorists didn't get to meet people who can lead them to the proper path,
Scared cuz more tension between nations will happen.

I can only hope nothing drastically worse than 9/11 will happen,
and hope that people who suffered directly or indirectly from this attack will find peace from their grief and sorrows, maybe slowly but surely.

I wonder how many other attacks like this are around the world.
The world is getting scarier and scarier by the day.

Like I thought of last week,
A world is fucked-up cuz fucked-up people live in it.

Let's try to build a better future, little by little.

I get seriously hit by the human fucked-upness very occasionally. And it's very depressing.

About bringing more bad images to Islam--definitely sad as many people (many people as in, what, people living in Finland maybe? We're a Christian country, not many Muslims around et cetera and all that jazz, means we're not that used to handling with it) seem to think biasedly about it; all those terrorism attacks going around, it's only rational. When you hear only bad stuff which usually takes space from the positive, you start feeling negative. And that's sucky indeed, I wish a more happier side of Islam was brought to us less familiar with the religion in guestion.

it's not a harsh religion, in fact, Islam really comes from the Arabic word "salam" which means "peace". we encourage peace, and which religion doesn't? even people who don't believe in any mighty being encourage peace.
at the core, no matter what you believe in, it all comes back to being good, being kind to others.

it's just frustrating and upsetting at the same time, knowing that people who don't see this clearly exist and are willing to harm others to force their message onto others.

Yeah. When there's a group of some type of people committing bad things, everyone starts thinking all the members of the group are the same.

Yeah, I know it's a religion of peace but I must admit Western people probably see it as a religion of unequality - all the stuff with women having to cover themselves and men being in a very highlighted state - and surely, this is not helping the least bit.
Well said, like in my case; no solid ground of religion for me atm, but I do wish for peace and things going well. And yeah, even if one didn't have religious views, it's not just the matter of what you believe in; all of us need to treat each other well. That's the start for all the good.

Religions can be very dangerous this way, people think they can take it to extremes "just because" the think they've got it 100% right. To me, if someone feels good about their views, alrightie, but don't come and make things worse and harming other people.
Meh, peace we need, peace.
