Your f-list forecast mainly shows 'flooding' for the coming few days, so bear with me 'kays >:D







First of all -- a lot of people did this on their Tumblrs, but I'll answer the meme here because it's much more convenient for me :3 AND to make things different, I'll answer 6 questions per entry, because it might be hella long and super detailed! ...if I can manage it, that is XD

So, shall I start?


1. Favorite V6 song:
I can never understand people who ask this and expect only one answer. Especially for a band that's existed for 15 years...SO I'M GONNA CHEAT AND PUT FIVE. And it's gonna be different from the V6 meme I did before XD

Guilty
Because it's the song that pulled me into V6! And the PV is a really huge attracting force. Plus, since it's simple and elegant, I didn't feel very awkward about liking it right away XD

Ai no Melody
BECAUSE IT'S JUST GENKI AND HAPPY AND MAKES ME SPAZZY LOL.

Haresugita sora
It's one of those rare non-fast-paced songs that I actually like! The PV is a big factor too; clips of the sky, the concert, and them singing the song in that concert -- it's really simple but it works for me :'3

Gravity Graffiti
At first, when looking at the title, I thought it's really interesting; but when I listened to it the first time it wasn't that appealing. But after watching their Love & Life concert, and how much energy they showed when they sang this song, I immediately replayed it and fell in love with it XD

I DON'T FORGIVE
It's not all the time V6 does anger-theme songs, right? Well it's not exactly about anger, haha; but it's something close, I guess. But anyway -- it has kind of a rock feel to it! And it's awesome how Tonisen sings the chorus while Kamisen does the verses; the cooperation and 'harmony' are evidently there :D\m/

2. Favorite 20th Century song:

Gram-8
Before getting the feel for this song, my favorites were Honey (because I actually understood more than half of the lyrics! XD) and Love Song (the remix version, especially). But after that, for some reason, I just think Tonisen and rock go really well together. I mean, their ballads are beautiful and all, but Gram-8 is definitely staying at the top spot for now X3

3. Favorite Coming Century song:

Desert Eagle
Perfect example of a bias towards elements of 'sky' and 'fly'. And this song actually has a lot of meaning in it. The first time I knew of this song was when I randomly surfed around je_secrets, and someone mentioned about how meaningful and moving Desert Eagle is, so I checked it out; and immediately liked it :)

4. Favorite solo song:

Kan-o by Morita Go
Yeah that song >:D The first time I listened to it, even with all biasness aside, I still think his voice reaaally suits this song. And with me understanding only bits and pieces of this song -- or actually just by listening it the first time, honestly -- there's no doubt it's not a very 'clean' song ahaha XD After reading the translations only did I realize the extent of its contents. Yet still it only makes me like this song more. Becaue I'm corrupted like that XDDD (Maroon 5 was the first who initiated this love for sexy songs, okay!)

5. What’s your theme song:

Uh...since it's my ringtone now, I'll just answer CHANCE! ☆
It's a really...um, happy, song? 8D How do you describe it -- it's just full of positive energy :D Whenever my phone rings, I can't help to smile; seriously! It's also used as the ending song for the earlier Kumagusu episodes!

6. Song you must play when you’re down:

Ai no Melody
I mean, is there anyone who'd still feel down after watching the video?! It's colorful and lol and just very psychedelically genki XD

And they're all wearing the same clothes so it's easier to concentrate AHAHAHAHAAA

A few songs on here I haven't listened to *bricks* I'm listening to some of their older albums and it still sounds awesome - even if I'm more biased towards the new stuff still.

i also like their newer stuff, actually! the older songs that i liked are mostly 'discovered' when i watched their concerts XD

ahhh i should try playing Ai no Melody when i shower someday -- seems like fun 8DDD

Favorite solo song doesn't surprise me AT ALL!!!!!!!
I think I would also choose Guilty to introduce V6 to my friends ^^

I quite don't remember Gravity Graffity (I have to listen to it again xDDD)

Gram-8: I almost die anytime I watch their Voyager performance: either all together or camera angle *nosebleed*

Favorite Kamisen song... I have others xDDD (it's kind hard since I love lots of them >.>)

yay Guilty! XD now to actually recommend the song to my friends...

Gravity Graffiti is...mm in their Infinity album! :D but it's better to watch them performing it in their Love & Life concert (the V Program!) because you can feel the hype!

My fav Kamisen song is 'our place'. It's quite different to what they usually sing, but I love it....and I just love their perf in Vibes (especially the little dance all 3 together)
