Hoping to find peace

The volcanic ash from a glacier erupting in Iceland caused quite a havoc for European flights.

The big earthquake in China claimed the lives of a lot of people.

I dunno, man.
This is pretty scary.
Yet we know all these are coming.

I hope everyone affected, both directly and indirectly, by these occasions and others too, will find peace and solace as soon as possible. Cuz I know I can't handle the stress of these tragedies.

The world seems much smaller now.

It was about the time with the volcano. The threat existed. Yet I kind of find it intimidating to see such "signals" of major havoc that could outburst, and of course there is delay in traffic.
Volcanic ash is such a mean bastard, it disturps everything and can destroy our technologized world.

A lot happens. I hope this trouble ceases

i dunno if these kinda stuff are either actually normal for the world,
or the information that we can get NOW, in this internet era, that makes us notice that these kinda things happen -- cuz if i don't have internet connection, i won't know bout this cuz i don't really read the papers or watch tv haha... *cough* -- that make it scary.

kinda like earthquakes; they happen ALL the time, right?.
but before this, i didn't care about it, didn't know where and when it happened, didn't even realize there's a major earthquake.
then after the internet get infused into my daily life ('infused'...poetic), i get to read about it everywhere.

I think it's some kind of fluctuation only. Well, mostly that is. I think the Internet makes us notice things faster - such as in crime rates and stuff like that people think crimes have increased but in some cases it could be the publicity such actions receive. You can really "get lost" in the Internet.

Yup. I don't remember those "borders" of the..what are those, I don't know the English terminology but the areas where the earthquakes happen but it's just normal around those areas. In Finland the ground seldom shakes or when it does, no one really notices.
For a small humanbeing it's crazy to get to know what kind of issues there actually are, globally. Not just nationally or areally, but all kinds of things are happening.

But I think there definitely is this thing called global warming, mass destinction of species etc. In that sense it could be that there are extra things happening/gonna happen.

Yeah, well. There isn't much to do about it, only by living your own life. But I know what you mean, it also makes me flip out at times, this type of stuff.
