ROOKIES this time

Ah right, lately I've been watching shows featuring the cast of ROOKIES :D
Initially I just wanted to find the Utaban show cuz people said it's really amusing, and searching for that one show led me to discover lots of other shows as well haha!

I'd like to share some interesting stuff from the shows, but before that, I'll just give a short intro to the series, to let you guys get the feel of ROOKIES and maybe spur some interest in you to watch it (and/or read the manga too!) --

The shortest summary I can think up of for ROOKIES is :
The attempts and 'fighting for your dreams'-sense of a new teacher Kawato to remotivate and bring the high school baseball club of Futagotamagawa Gakuen (nicknamed Nikogaku) away from being delinquents and achieving their dreams of going to Koshien, the most aimed-for place in high-school baseball.

This series is, well, what you'd expect from a high-school drama -- humor, tears, anger, fights, etc -- but what makes it appealing is the fact that you can actually feel like you want this group of 'lost' guys to win, and you can see how hard Kawato-sensei works for the sake of this baseball club; while the other teachers just leave them be and labelling them as useless punks, Kawato is the only one who believes in them, and it kinda makes you feel touched...or something. Like there actually exists someone who has faith in you.

Beautiful story of friendship and trust, honestly I cried watching the series, and more so the movie X'D
