I'M STILL SLEEPY OMG EPIC FAIL.
I had like 10 hours sleep -- but in between I woke up a while but refused to get out of bed but still -- and I'm still sleepy.
I don't need sleepiness now, I have a homework due tomorrow ftw.
then why the hell are you still typing this

There are a number of the recent PSC live around, but I couldn't bring myself to read them haha.
I'll be too overexcited and would not be able to rationalize myself to wait/preorder the DVD when it comes out WAT.
even when i dun have the monayh oh god

Today's lab was only...10 min long?
Just an intro and checking the name roll.
A classmate from my previous quarter's in here too, so =3
I just hope I can do this lab properly.
The lecturer/instructor doesn't look all that intimidating, that's good.

What else...
Randomly, I wanna let you people to watch a part of one of my favorite lives.

I was interested in this headline at Yahoo! News :

Scientists determine that head-banging is bad for health

-- makes me think :
I thought that's obvious?
I mean, have you tried head-banging?
Well I have, and my neck hurts XD
altho the GazettE does it all the time but they're superhumans so XDDD

Ah well, still, safety first ne.
Hardcore head-bangers, take care of yourselves and make sure you get to live to go to another head-banging concert =3

After my last post, many stuff seemed to happen.
Well majorly only two, but still.

One is the talk organized by the Muslim Student Association (MSA) about the current Gaza situation.

I can't elaborate much on it, but I'll just say what I remember alright.
Israel attacked Gaza, particularly saying they are only targeting the 'terrorist' organization Hamas, because they said that Hamas/Palestine (I'm quite blurry about which term is correct, I apologize) breached the ceasefire they had agreed upon in July (if I'm not mistaken) last year.
That is what Israel says.
But there's an evidence that said Israel was the one who breached it, earlier than the said Palestine attack.
The media plays at least a part of this, and as we know, media can be ruthless at times.

The ceasefire took place in July, but one of the Israeli higher-ups (again, I forgot the actual info, sorry) has said that Israel has been planning this current attack on Gaza eight months ago.
Then why the ceasefire? Why give hope to people when you're already planning to ruin that hope in the first place?

It is true that Palestinians had attacked Israelis on occasions, but think again : compare the technology of the Israelis vs the Palestinians -- technology-enhanced, military-standard weapons vs home-made missiles and stocks of what they have, plus the stones and rocks people can find to throw at the tanks.
And the death toll, disproportionate. More civilians in Palestine are being killed than Israeli soldiers (correct me if I'm wrong).

Israelis say that they are only targeting the Hamas people -- which, interestingly, used to be an organization that Israel has a share in years and years back -- but apparently they are also aiming at public places. They showed a clip where many people are injured and are bleeding, at a marketplace. MARKETPLACE. What's the justification of that? What targeting ONLY Hamas officials?
And in Yahoo! News earlier today, there was an article that said a UN truck, bringing aid and medical supplies, was also attacked, causing 2 deaths.

Before the bombing, Israel soldiers flew a helicopter over the city and dropped flyers saying : "there will be a bombing at this place, evacuate the area" -- the question here is, where else can the people go, you have barricaded all entrances and exits to and from the city? It's like being trapped in a room with the doors locked and no windows, and being told to escape on your own.
It's just insanely insane, you know?

All these are what the speaker has said, occupation.
Occupation, there are two sides : the oppressor, and the oppressed (in this case, Israel and Palestine).
You can say occupation is like a snake, being put in a jar, and you close it. You do all sorts of things on it, like poking the jar and tapping, and the snake will try all its might to get out, get back at you. And what happens when you open the jar? The snake will jump out at you and bite you to death for what you have done.
Occupation, does not only apply to the Gaza situation here. Many places, many nations have experienced occupation before, and none of them like it, I can assure that.
Maybe that's why Palestinians want to attack Israel? That seems just about the normal thing oppressed people will do.
There's an interesting look on occupation on Occupation101.

Before you lash me or anything let me make some disclaimers :
1. The term 'Israel/Israelis' here does not mean the entire nation. It only refers to the people who are in support of the attacks. Not everyone in Israel agrees with the attacks, in fact 58% of the people voted that this is not alright at all. It's just like when US went to war with Iraq, a LOT of people disapproves and disagrees of sending the soldiers there. Not everyone of that one nation is at fault for one war.
2. I won't deny that Palestinians have also attacked and took the lives of Israelis, and I don't believe in killing people at all. So I'm not saying that the Palestinians are 100% innocent, even if they are provoked, they shouldn't have killed the civilians in Israel too.

And an amusing thought : Gaza is to Israel like "California is to Canada" -- they have no connection whatsoever. Like, Canada says "So we'll block all the imports and exports inside and outside of California" and to which California would reply, "What the -- ? What do you have with us, get the hell out of here!!" (more or less how the speaker said it, honest).

So...if you have any news or info or anything to say about this, I'll be glad to hear them =3
I'm no good at debating and refuting statements, so...I'll try to listen instead to what you have to say about this okay.

Two is the minor earthquake that hit us.

I didn't even try to find any info on that, but my friends who did said that the fault is the same as the last one's, at San Bernardino (very close to us, seriously), and not sure if this time it's 3.4 or 5.0 on the scale.
At first when it happened, I was at this computer reading some stuff, and I heard some tapping noise from the opposite wall -- I thought it's only the neighboring student cuz it happens all the time (the walls here are made of woodboards *dunno the term haha* hence it's very thin). But my friend suddenly said, "Do you feel it's shaking now?"
Only then I realized that it was swaying under my feet O___O;;
It lasted for 4-5 seconds or a bit more.
Nothing big happened after that, no one going out of the house or people asked to leave the houses for checking and stuff.

So...that's about it for today.
