today's little events

1. i think it's my first time hearing a thunder since i came here. just now, when everything was still and barely making a sound, suddenly the thunder cracked outside. it's been raining lately for the past week, but a thunder is still really rare.
2. i watched The Lord of the Rings : Fellowship of the Ring today. i've never watched the trilogy before, and i planned on watching it during my winter break few months ago, but obviously the plan failed. and iT WAS AN AWESOME MOViE. i like the Nazguls (forgive me if my grammatical error on Tolkien's languange offends you!!), they're waaay better than the Dementors in Harry Potter, especially in character design-sense. and i like the scene when Aragorn fight off the Nazguls after Frodo freaked out at the other Hobbits, them making supper and their fire is giving away their position-sorta thing. Aragorn COOLNESS XDDD
3. well this is a bit late but i finished Maximum Ride : Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports in technically one day. (started round 11 pm Wed, ended round 6 pm Thu) and GOD it was really hard to put down!! Ari's situation is really sad, he's only a kid. and Jeb is...a fatherly jerk. yeah. and Fang is overly emo. haha.
4. i like the smell of pancakes fresh from the pan. i like pancakes. with maple syrup. i like the smell of cinnamon too, and cinnamon buns, and sweet-coffee-with-cinnamon. and the smell of peaches.
5. i'm spending money like water lately.
6. i want to watch all Saw movies. i have the movies now, but maybe when my friend is free.
7. i want to draw more~ i miss drawing.

Reason to Smile today :
talking with my mom on the phone. even tho it was short, but i got to wish Happy Birthday to her at least. and talked bout how i finished Maximum Ride in 1 day. yep she reads Maximum Ride too.
