to post about A Reason to Smile Today (yesterday) :
On the way to the bus stop, I saw a rabbit in plain sight.
A lone rabbit, sitting quietly, braving the chilly morning air, on the lawn, in the middle of houses/lawn.
KAWAii~n DESU yo!!
Kawaii kawaii.

Kawaii desho? Kawaii ne?

This is not somebody's pet, btw, cuz we're not allowed to bring pets (except fish) into the Village (campus housing area). So this rabbit is purely a stray. Stray rabbit.
Sutore- usa-chan. Ne. Hai.
(sorry too much SID influence. I wish I have mobile blogging. It'll be easier ne.)

With that,  I'll say goodbye now.
Ja and oyasumi.

I updated my iTunes, and I got to look at people's playlists...haha.
Wow I didn't know we can do that. Sharing playlists and stuff.

Neways I found this 1 playlist as interesting, as he/she has a LOT of games tracks (Tekken and GuitarFreaks and DrumMania spesifically) plus quite a number of Japanese songs.

(On GuitarFreaks there's 'Rocket Dive'!! Not the original hide one, but still, it's cool when you can play that song in an arcade ne. I wanna try it sometime...I found a game arcade somewhere here, and there's a guitar game (hopefully it's GuitarFreaks cuz it looked like one) there mwahaha.)

And this one track, on the playlist was titled "H i d e   D i e   S o n g" by X Japan -- I got curious. So I clicked on it, and after trying hard to catch some words to look for its lyrics, it turned out to be "Forever Love". The main reason for looking up the lyrics/translation is that I thought it was a tribute to hide, their late guitarist. I'm not sure if it really is a tribute song for him, but it does feel that way.

Which brings me to a sort of sad feeling.
Cuz remembering hide and thinking what he could've done now, it's...dunno, I always felt this way about someone/something not being on this earth anymore. I know it's useless to think of the countless 'what ifs' now, and what's done is done, and such. I just can't help it, sorry.

But, proving to be a great influence in (modern?) Japanese music, and knowing his music is still loved by many people, that became A Reason to Smile for me today.
Music is very powerful ne. And it doesn't die over time.

So hide, where ever you are, I hope you're happy to see/hear your music is highly appreciated and listened to today, even when you're not around to let us say thank you in person.
I just got to know you for about one or two month ago, but I already felt a sincerely deep loss with your departure -- although I can tell you that your songs are GREAT and too AWESOME!!

Thank you so much for those inspiring songs.
Thank you so very much.

~ In memory of hide ~

ps : ...honestly...I felt like crying a bit now. Excuse me.
